When entering articles, a distinction is made between the article data and the article properties. The article data includes images and texts, the properties determine how the article appears in the store.
In the case of the item data, care should be taken to provide the items offered with as much information as possible; a picture including caption and a detailed description are absolutely essential. This increases the probability that the exhibitor will book the item.
Articles that fit well with other articles ("Whoever orders this article might also be interested in those articles") can be defined here. These are displayed in the article detail view below the article.
There are articles, which require the order of another article (example: a waste water connection makes no sense without a water connection as well as the electricity consumption without an electricity connection). Therefore, there is the possibility to define dependent articles. When an exhibitor tries to order such an article, the system checks whether at least one other article specified here is already in the shopping cart; if not, the exhibitor is taken directly to the prerequisite article in the exhibitor area so that this article can be ordered.
If you want to limit the quantity that can be ordered, you can optionally enter comma-separated values in this field, which will then be displayed in a dropdown for the article. For example, this could be flyers that can be ordered in units of 50, whereby more than 250 flyers cannot be ordered (i.e., "50,100,150,200,250").
If nothing is entered in this field, the store system assumes that the item is a piece. Any deviating entries in this field will be indicated accordingly in the detailed view of the item.
There are some units of measurement that allow automatic calculation of quantities, which means that it is no longer possible to enter the quantity of the item:
Normally, each article can be ordered until the date on which the store is closed is reached. If an item is to be orderable for longer or shorter than this date, this can be done by entering a different date here.
Certain articles can be removed from the store before the end of the order period or can still be ordered even if the store has already been closed.
This field visually highlights an article in the article overview of a rubric.
There are items that are booked for the trade fair stand (rental furniture, supply connections, fascia lettering) and those that are independent of a trade fair stand (advertising materials). Normally, there is no need to distinguish between these two conditions, since stand-specific products are always delivered to the exhibition stand. However, if there are exhibitors with several booked booths, it is necessary to know for which booth an item is ordered. If the click field is activated, you will be asked for which booth the article is ordered when ordering an article.
A comment field can be displayed for each article, which can either be filled in optionally or must be filled in as a mandatory field. The label of the remark field is stored in the article data.
Locked items are not displayed in the store. However, if items were previously ordered that are subsequently blocked, the orders remain visible.
